This is a blog that’s designed to help you understand games; the process of development, the sweat, toil and tears that get sunk into thirty seconds of action, and the tightrope line of success across the sea of failure.

More specifically, it’s about how, why, where. It’s for you to explore possible ways of getting into the game industry, or even going it alone and making your own game. We’ll cover a wide range of subjects, and have interviews, articles, tips, tricks, warnings, and celebrations of talent. Above all, we will write about games.

I’m a gamer, and I’m writer. More recently, I’ve combined the two. I’m not going to pretend that my way is better, or more assured of success than any other way. The most beautiful thing about working in a creative industry is that it rewards people who think differently. I’m not going to tell you what you should do, or how, I’m just going to give you my experiences and what I did, and how I would do things.
